Editorial policy
HairAdvice.pro covers health topics, so accuracy matters more than traffic. This page explains how we work.
How guides are written
Each guide is written for this site and based on published dermatology literature, regulator guidance and established clinical references. We aim to explain what the evidence shows, how strong it is, and where it is uncertain. We prefer plain language and avoid promising results.
Medical review
Where an article carries a "Medically reviewed by" line, a qualified clinician has reviewed it. Articles without that line have not had a clinician review, and should be read as general education. Reviewed articles are re-checked when guidance changes.
Country-specific information
Regulation, funding and prices differ by country. Our UK, US and UAE guides point to the official regulators (for example the CQC and GMC in the UK, state medical boards in the US, and the DHA, DoH and MOHAP in the UAE) so you can verify a clinic yourself. Prices are illustrative ranges, not quotes.
Updates and corrections
Articles show their published and updated dates. If you spot an error or outdated information, please tell us through the contact page. We correct confirmed errors promptly and update the article date.
Advertising and independence
This site is funded by advertising. Advertisers do not review, pay for, or influence our editorial content, and ads are labelled "Advertisement" and kept visually separate from articles. We do not sell hair products, and the quiz and tools do not recommend a specific brand or clinic. Clinic listings are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.
Privacy
Quiz and tool answers are used to show you a result. Contact details are only stored if you choose to submit them. See our privacy policy.
